Clayton County Library System provides library card holders with access to several commercial databases and other online resources such as tutorials and e-books that are not freely available on the web. A few of the most popular databases are listed here.
Workforce development and entrepreneurship
Beginning January 2021, the Clayton County Library System will begin providing patrons FREE access to Interplay Learning, the leading provider for digital training simulations and VR develop on-the-job skills quickly and efficiently, building better careers and better lives for the essential skilled trades.
Interplay Learning is the world’s FIRST online, on-demand skilled trades training catalog featuring VR and 3D simulations. The organization strives to prepare the next generation of skilled workers with SkillMill™, the world’s leading skilled trades training platform. Digital training simulations and VR develop on-the-job skills quickly and efficiently, building better careers and better lives for the essential skilled trades.
FREE Trades Skills Classes @ CCLS
Interested candidates will need to fill out a inquiry form (https://form.jotform.com/203383753097158) and wait to be contacted by a Member of the Technology Department for confirmation and introduction to the Interplay Platform. Class access is given on a first come, first serve basis and based on necessary technology requirements listed on the form.
Entrepreneur in a Bag
The Clayton County Library System provides Entrepreneur in a Bag (EIAB) kits for use by qualifying patrons courtesy of a grant from the Georgia Public Library Service.
The purpose of the EIAB kits is to aide entrepreneurs in Clayton County with on the go business endeavors, meetings and client negotiations to contribute to the workforce development programs for the citizens we serve.
